Abstract
P162 MAIN PETROLEUM OBJECTS OF THE CENTRAL PART BARENTS REGION FROM SEISMIC INVESTIGATIONS Abstract 1 The Barents Plate (BP) has a composite structure as a result of repeated processes of riftogenesis. In consequence of two types of tectonic blocks are distinguished in the structure of the BP. They are: 1 - rift related basins with thin crust as in the South Barents Basin and North Barents Basin where sedimentary strata are represented by thick synrift complexes and 2 - fragments of ancient prerift structure of the BP with thick crust and sedimentary cover of platform formations of wide stratigraphic range
