P235 RADIATION OF DIRECTIONAL SEISMIC SOURCES IN AN ELASTIC HALF SPACE 1 This study investigates the radiation patterns of an elastic wave field generated by a directional seismic source located into an elastic half space. A numerical model is presented and validated for the case of a single force acting on the surface of a half space. Calculations for a combination of two forces equivalent to a directional source in an infinite medium is then presented.
