P014 THE GULF OF CORINTH – A HALF GRABEN OR AN ASYMMETRIC RIFT ? 1 The Gulf of Corinth is often considered as a typical example of a more or less simple half graben with major border faults to the south and a flexure of the northern shore (Armijo et al. 1996). A lot of new data especially subsurface data and dates from both onshore and offshore has been compiled or acquired through the Corinth Rift Laboratory EEC project.
