Abstract
P019 MISSOUR BASIN – MESO-CENOZOIC TECTONIC AND SEDIMENTARY EVOLUTION AND ITS IMPACT ON PETROLEUM SYSTEMS 1 M. EL ALJI* and F. CHARRAT The Missour Basin located in north-eastern Morocco is a part of the Inter-Atlasic domain. Because of its location between the High Atlas to the South and the Middle Atlas to the North the structural style of this zone was controlled by successive tectonic phases which started as early as the Triassic period and ended in the Tertiary time. During the Triassic & Liassic times the Atlas trough was initiated as a result of strikeslip movements along pre-existing hercynian
