In the studies of full waveform inversion, how to improve its computational efficiency have always been a hot research topic and an important prerequisite allowing for full waveform inversion a mature seismic imaging tool. This paper presents a joint high-efficiency algorithm by combining three speedup techniques including random phase source encoding, principal component analysis and variable grid method within the framework of frequency domain FWI, taking full advantage of different features of these methods for different frequency scales. Numerical tests shows that this method not only provide a high speedup but also ensure the accuracy of inversion result.
