Abstract
According to the cognition of reservoir of the da-an-zhai formation in FL region of Sichuan basin, the method is provided which is used to predict shale reservoir. The shale has the characteristics of low porosity and low permeability, and fault and fracture’s development and distribution play an important part in accumulation and conservation in shale reservoir. This method is using pre-stack azimuthal anisotropy to predict the nature fracture developmental condition of shale reservoir. Compared to traditional technique of fracture prediction, this method has higher reliability, and this method has stronger identification to high angle fracture. Meanwhile, the consistency between results of fracture prediction and existed well information can prove that this method provided is reliable.
