Rock Permeability and How It Relates to Water Salinity

This work is part of my PhD research at Teesside University. The paper represents an initial work which aims to investigate the possibility of correlating rock permeability to water salinity and producing a mathematical model. The results of this initial research showed that it is possible to correlate permeability to the change in water salinity. This is because permeability increases with increase in water salinity but it reaches a case of stability at some values of water salinity. However, this research is still under progression but it is expected to give some interesting results in the next few months.
