Abstract
Introduction In the last few years there has been increasing focus on quantitatively modeling of the uncertainty in volume estimates. Large part of the focus is on uncertainty methodology and another focus is on integrating the workflows of the various disciplines. This presentation will briefly touch on the uncertainty methodology and go more into the advantages and challenges of integrating the workflows. The challenges are both on technology and in relation to sharing the work between the different disciplines. In the early days of uncertainty modeling of production forecasts the work first started as a Reservoir Engineer activity, later the workflow was expanded to include geological modeling and now we suggest it’s time to include also the geophysicists.
