Spencer* (GDF SUEZ E&P UK Ltd) SUMMARY 71 st EAGE Conference & Exhibition — Amsterdam The Netherlands 8 - 11 June 2009This presentation describes how a Utility with no previous exploration and production history laid the foundations for a significant E&P division by exploiting remaining potential in a mature basin. The Utility in question was Gaz de France (GDF) now GDF SUEZ since 2008. The story began in the late 1990s when GDF came to
