A017 Exploration of the Lower Cretaceous Sands in Leland Area Alberta Using Seismically Derived Rock Properties C.C. Dumitrescu* (Sensor Geophysical Ltd) & F. Mayer (Devon Canada Corporation) SUMMARY This paper provides a case study of a 3D seismic survey in the Leland area of the Deep Basin of Alberta Canada where seismically derived rock properties were used for exploration. In this case study identifying the gas sands within the lower Cretaceous was the primary interpretive focus.
