Abstract
A024 Nile Delta Reservoir Case Study Using a Novel Broad Band Pre–Stack Seismic Inversion to Rock Properties Technique M.E. Smith* (Geotrace Technologies Inc.) SUMMARY Exploration for hydrocarbons within a concession located onshore in the Nile Delta Egypt has been ongoing for several years however so far has not afforded any significant discoveries. A pre-stack seismic inversion to rock properties procedure using a novel technique to provide broad bandwidth has provided increased understanding of the lithology and highlighted potential reservoir targets.
