Hodgson (Heriot-Watt University) SUMMARY The unconsolidated reservoirs of the Genesis field have experienced significant production-related compaction since first oil in 1999. This compaction causes stretching in the overburden and is visible as time-shifts between the monitor and baseline 4D surveys.
