Abstract

C010 Mult-Azimuth 3D Provides Robust Improvements in Nile Delta Seismic Imaging J. Keggin* (BP) W. Rietveld (BP) M. Benson (BP) E. Manning (BP) P. Cook (BP) B. Barley (BP) & C. Page (PGS) SUMMARY After covering over 3000 sq km of the Nile Delta with Multi-Azimuth (MAZ) data we demonstrate how and why the technique improves illumination demultiple and lateral resolution. The technique is shown to be robust and reliable providing improved seismic images for exploration and development purposes.
