C035 Jura West – A Significant Discovery in a Very Mature UKCS Province E. Barber (Total E&P UK) L. Ben-Brahim* (Total E&P UK) P. Buffet (Total E&P UK) V. Faure (Total E&P UK) & J.C. Navarre (Total E&P UK) SUMMARY Exploration well 3/15a-10 was spudded in July 2006 to evaluate the Jura West Prospect in the UK Northern North Sea. About 280m of hydrocarbon-bearing Middle Jurassic sandstones were encountered in the Brent Group proving a major new gas-condensate discovery.
