Verpovsky (Pridneprovskaja Geophysical Exploration Expedition) SUMMARY On the example of the Northern slope of Dnipr-Donetsk depression (Eastern Ukraine) a close connection was shown between the faults of the crystal basement determined as a result of interpretation of gravimetry data and the development of the fractured structures in the crystal basement perspective for hydrocarbons. A possibility was shown for the prognosis of regions with prospects for the traps of hydrocarbons in the crystal
