F035 Where Has All the Pressure Gone – Lateral Drainage and Pressure Regressions S.A O'Connor* (IKON Science/geoPressure Technology) & R.E. Swarbrick (IKON Science/GeoPressure Technology) SUMMARY Pore pressure prediction methodology estimates fluid pressure in shales and relies on associated reservoir pressures for calibration. This methodology works well where reservoirs are restricted in volume and without significant leakage. Analysis of pressure data from many basins with significant hydrocarbon potential (including Mahakam Delta Indonesia; offshore East Coast India; Nile Delta offshore Cameroon; North Sea and Mid-Norway) shows significant pressure drawdown due to leakage along inclined reservoirs and/or via faults to shallower levels and/or
