Abstract
H016 3D VSP PP and PSv Imaging for Carbonate Reservoirs Y.S. Yan* (BGP) Z.K. Xu (BGP) M.L. Yi (BGP) X. Wei (BGP) & J.R. Yang (BGP) SUMMARY Carbonate reservoirs are thought as very difficult geological objectives to study because of their complicated diagenetic processes. Many geophysicists and geologists have focused on the interpretation of the fracture reservoirs in carbonate in TLM basin west of China. Based on a design-optimized geometry a high quality 3D-3C VSP data set was acquired. Attempts were made to take full advantages of multicomponent information in this data set for the reservoirs analysis. The main steps
