Abstract
P021 Pre-Processing Workflow for 3D OBS Data for Multiple Attenuation B. Traub* (Sintef Petroleum Research) A.K. Nguyen (Norwegian University of Science and Technology) & M. Riede (now at RWE Hamburg) SUMMARY Multiples in seismic data can be very strong and contaminate the primary reflections. This can cause problems in the processing flow and for the interpretation of the subsurface image. Thus multiple suppression is an important part of the preprocessing flow. We present a new fast preprocessing work flow for real 3D OBS data. Included are the calibration of the pressure and vertical velocity components and spatial aliasing is addressed
