Shumlyanskaya (Ukrainian State Geological Prospecting Institute) SUMMARY We present a least-squares method to estimate signals with a more realistic compared to the conventional one mathematical model of seismic record comprising random noise and an arbitrary number of coherent noise wavetrains.
