Abstract
P033 Shallow Anisotropy in the Vienna Basin from Wide-Azimuth Data E. Angerer* (OMV Exploration & Production GmbH) SUMMARY A recently acquired 3D cross spread land survey in the Vienna Basin provided a suitable data set to conduct a wide azimuth study over the shallow sediments containing the reservoir zones. A specific azimuth preserving processing sequence was applied to the data set to enable the extraction of robust azimuthal anisotropy attribues. In the current case stuy these can be linked to unequal horizontal stresses active in this pull apart basin. The densely sampled seismic attributes are then integrated into geomechanical models.
