Abstract
P042 Modeling of 2D/2C VSP Data in the Presence of a Buried Reef G.A. Shekhtman* (VNIIGeofizika) A.V. Cherepovski (Input/Output) A.P. Ray-trace modeling of the offset VSP records for a number of shotpoints with different offsets allowed for the investigation of compressional and converted-wavefield characteristics in the presence of the buried reef. Full-wavefield modeling of the offset VSP records confirmed the presence of the full range of compressional and converted-wave events. It was established
