Ray-trace modeling of the offset VSP records for a number of shotpoints with different offsets allowed for the investigation of compressional and converted-wavefield characteristics in the presence of the buried reef. Full-wavefield modeling of the offset VSP records confirmed the presence of the full range of compressional and converted-wave events. It was established
