Abstract
P077 Sonic Log Derived Pressure Depletion Predictions and Application to Time-Lapse Seismic Interpretation A.K. Furre* (Statoil ASA) M. Andersen (Norsar) A.S. Moen (Statoil ASA) & R.K. Tønnessen (Statoil ASA) SUMMARY Seismic time-lapse interpretation enables us to identify production effects from seismic data. Statoil has during the last decade conducted several seismic time-lapse studies in a wide range of clastic reservoirs. As our experience with seismic time-lapse surveys has grown we have for depletion scenarios seen a discrepancy between our predictions of stress-velocity relations and the actual field observations. Our predictions of stress-velocity relations have historically been based on laboratory measurements
