Abstract
P081 3D Reservoir Modeling of Sand Intrusions – Case Study Chestnut Field Central North Sea R. Lengkeek* (Schlumberger) SUMMARY Kilometre-scale sandstone intrusions have been documented from the Palaeogene deep-water sequences of the Central North Sea. The Geometry of Eocene sandstones within a multi-component seismic survey was modelled using interpretation of converted wave seismic data calibrated to a number of boreholes. The 3D reservoir modeling provides an improved understanding of the prospectivity of these complex potential reservoirs with their associated risks and uncertainties.
