Abstract
P091 Instantaneous Attributes Based on Time- Frequency Transforms in Application to Acoustic Full Waveforms K. Wawrzyniak* (AGH - University of Science and Technology) SUMMARY Instantaneous centre frequency and instantaneous spectral bandwidth calculations are part of Acoustic Full Waveforms (AFW) analysis. The attributes were determined on the basis of time-frequency representation of signals obtained from Matching Pursuit (MP) and Continuous Wavelet Transform (CWT). The instantaneous attributes clearly indicated gas-bearing zones and allowed to identify acoustic waves at the AFW such as P S Stoneley and other waves. They highly improve qualitative interpretation of complex acoustic full waveforms. EAGE 69 th Conference
