P093 Interpreting Resistivity Logs from Deviated Wells Q. Zhou* (Chevron) SUMMARY It is well known that logs especially the resistivity logs from a highly deviated well behave differently than those from a vertical well in the same reservoir. As more highly deviated wells are drilled in recent years correctly interpreting the measurements becomes critical. The major challenges in interpreting the resistivity data are from two main areas of applications namely geosteering and petrophysical evaluation.
