P124 Seismic Attributes in Flat Spot Mapping in Kuwait M.G. Kumpas* (Kuwait Oil Company) SUMMARY Flat seismic events have been identified in the Upper Cretaceous Campanian section in northern Kuwait. Identification on vertical sections has been straightforward where there is high angularity between the flat event and surrounding strata. Where angularity is low interpretation becomes subjective and time consuming. Interpretation in plan view offers a viable alternative although preparatory measures are necessary to utilize the information embedded in the data.
