P144 Beyond Aliasing Regularisation by Plane Event Extraction P. Hugonnet* (CGGVeritas) & J.L. Boelle (Total E&P) SUMMARY The regularisation problem (i.e. moving the seismic traces onto a regular spatial grid) has often to deal with spatial aliasing since the 3D seismic data are always under-sampled along one or several spatial directions and de-aliasing them prior to regularisation is not always possible. “Beyond aliasing” regularisation algorithms are then required. We present herein such an algorithm working in 3D (t-x-y) and based on the accurate extraction of local plane events through an inversion process.
