Abstract
P256 Oil to Triassic Source Correlations – An Example from Southern Moesian Platform Edge (N. Bulgaria) G.V. Georgiev (Sofia University) N.D. Botoucharov* (Sofia University) & A. Bechtel (Leoben University) SUMMARY The investigation includes three oil accumulations (Dolni Dubnik Gradina and Bohot) situated in different stratigraphic levels in southern Moesian platform edge and two source samples from most promising Triassic source interval (Mitrovo Fm.). They are compared by biomarker correlations using GC GC-MS techniques. Dolni Dubnik economic oil Gradina oil and Bohot oil flow are physically and compositionally identical and demonstrate very similar biomarker features. Investigated fractions are from the same
