Abstract
We present a transversely isotropic depth migration scheme for marine controlled-source electromagnetic (MCSEM) data, based on Claerbout's well-known 45 degree equation from seismic imaging. The proposed scheme is applicable to MCSEM data acquired with a 2-D geometry, and is numerically very efficient. We show examples from field data acquired offshore Norway.
