Abstract

Passive Seismic Tomography involving the continuous recording of natural microseismicity is increasingly being considered as a new exploration technique particularly in regions of complex geology such as fold and thrust belts. This technique also has the added advantage of being environmentally friendly. In this paper we present a feasibility modelling study on the Tempa Rossa oil and gas field in southern Italy.
