Abstract

Summary

This paper demonstrates how the optimum well completion design determined during Field Development Planning depends on the manner in which reservoir uncertainty is evaluated. A more robust evaluation of the preferred well completion design and field development strategy will only be achieved if the uncertainty in the reservoir parameters is considered along with the “most likely” realisation of the reservoir.
