Passive Seismic and Surface Deformation Monitoring of Steam Injection

Abstract
In this paper, we present two case studies demonstrating the use of passive seismic and surface deformation of steam injections. The first example is of a cyclic steam injection, and the second a SAGD injection. The paper also highlights the geomechanical integration of passive seismic data and strains inverted from surface deformation.
