Focused Inversion of Gradient Magnetic Data from Saqqara North Cemetery, Egypt

Inversion of magnetic gradient data for archaeological purposes is performed using a focusing functional. The focused inversion of real magnetic gradient data from Saqqara proves to be successful by using the Minimum Gradient Support as a focusing tool. Information about the susceptibility contrast between the archaeological structures and the surrounding soil is found to be critical for the reliability of the inversion. <br>
