The problem of static correction in areas with complex heterogeneous overburden is well known and sufficiently studied. Especially we can mark out the northern part of Western-Siberia, where the permafrost includes melted layers. Standard methods fail to solve this problem. Refraction statics for example is based on first break picks and is non-unique when velocity inversion is present. This paper is about the efficient solution for large magnitude short wavelength statics and medium wavelength statics in areas with complex velocity distribution in the shallow part of the prospect for combined 2D 3D seismic survey. The method is based on near surface heterogeneity appearance in different domains, such us common-offset time sections, CMP, CRP, CSP partial stacks and subsequent interactive correction and quality check. This approach allows to overcome first breakambiguity in a such region
