Abstract

Summary

Nowadays fund of anticline structures in West Siberia is almost exhausted so that most important targets for hydrocarbons exploration are now lithological traps. Although lithological traps are of a small size, highly developed oil and gas infrastructure in this region can still make their exploration a profitable business. However, finding geometrically complex nonstructural traps using just structural interpretation of seismic datais impossible. Process of lithological traps exploration should be based on integrated analysis of core, logging data and results of 3d seismic data interpretation, both structural and dynamic. In this work such a method of hydrocarbon lithological traps exploration is introduced
