Abstract
Truncated Gaussian simulation is a well known stochastic facies modeling method. Very different types of reservoirs can be modeled by constructing different trend and threshold functions. We will show how to model carbonate atolls by using truncated Gaussian simulation. <br>Carbonate atolls are cone shaped, and we show how to define a cone shaped trend for the truncated Gaussian simulation.<br>
