Abstract
On the base of variation finite element method for orthotropic visco-elastic foliated shells, which were in quasi stationary loading process, it was carried out modeling of the large scale fold forming processes in the crust sedimentary layer. It was obtained, that increasing of the sedimentary rocks fracturing degree and deviation of the constringent geotectonic forces from horizontal direction lead to decreasing of the growth folds velocity. Forming processes of anticlinoriums and synclinoriums in the crust sedimentary layer, and also velocities of the processes essentially depended on forms and sizes of the sedimentary rocks contortion areas.
