High Order Acoustic Scheme For a Wave Propagation Modeling

Abstract
We present a high order finite difference numerical scheme to simulate the acoustic wave equation. The<br>scheme uses 2 coupled equations in pressure and displacement. The scheme is an 8th order in space and<br>a 2n order in time n ≥ 1. The parallelism of code is based on message passing implementation to handle<br>one simulation and a master slave paradigm to simulate a large campaign aquisition. The code has been<br>tested on different architectures and present a high level of portability.
