Abstract

BG Group has developed a number of 3D modelling workflows, which are tailored to different modelling requirements. These workflows are based on standard methods of data generation (in specialist petrophysical and geophysical software packages), data QC, grid construction (incorporating seismic horizons and faults), facies and petrophysical modelling, and the upscaling the fine grid geological model into a coarser simulation grid as appropriate.
