Abstract
The majority of mid-ocean ridges (MORs)have an established morfological makeup
according to whether sea-foor spreading is fast or slow ( e.g. Macdonald et al, 1998). Their
makeup is so distinctive that intermediate velocity spreading ridges can also be described and
defined.
