Abstract

Despite the emphasis that they place on competency development, corporations frequently<br>cut their training budgets first when faced with any kind of economic down turn. If<br>competency management is to become more than a human resource management fad, then it<br>will have to demonstrate a quantifiable financial return. This abstract outlines one approach<br>to quantify the return on competency development investments.
