Abstract

Professional associations like EAGE play a special role in providing continuing education<br>(CE) as part of their permanent effort to deliver benefits to their members. They have to find<br>those special niches building on strengths, expertise and technical skills of members while<br>avoiding competition with commercial providers and replication of customised training<br>programmes in large companies.
