Abstract
An integrated electromagnetic survey was carried out in the archaeological site of Serra di
Vaglio located in the Basilicata Region (Southern Italy). The site includes the remains of an
ancient Lucanian settlement, partially excavated, that dates back to the V and IV centuries
B.C. The aim of the geophysical survey was to detect archaeological structures buried under a
regular thin sandy-clayey overburden.
