Abstract

Sand production from a poorly consolidated formation during gas, oil or water, recovery is an old, but yet unsolved problem of petroleum and geomechanical engineering. To onderstand this phenomenon, it is necessary to find the reasons why sand grafins (that is, fragments of the destroyed matrix) begin to move towards a well.
