Abstract

Near-surface cavity detection is often required in engineer geophysics. The method applied to solve such tasks must be quick and should result reliable parameters. Convenient processing of multi-electrode resistivity or Rayleigh surface waves measurements could fulfil these requirements. To be able to solve correctly the task of cavity detection numeric and analytic investigations are needed to observe the behaviour of the measured data and the sensitivity of the required parameters in case of different circumstances.
