Multi-Lateral Well Testing

Horizontal multi-Iateral completions, used in oil and gas recovery, can provide an economical alternative to standardproduction methods (see for example, Sugiyama et al 1997 and Jones et al, 1997). From a mathematical viewpoint the simplest multi-Iateral configurations, such as stacked laterals drawing from isolated compartments, require relatively straightforward solutions to the governing partial differential equation.
