Abstract

In this paper immiscible two-phase flow in simple geometries is investigated by simulations, This is done with a thermodynamically consistent Lattice-Boltzmann model of a binary fluid. The different pore-scale prototype flows serve as examples of two-phase flow in porous media and give input to the mathematical model of such flow on a macroscopie (Darcy) scale.
