Improved reservoir characterization using pseude-wells and massive seismic modelling

Seismic reservoir characterization consists in deriving reservoir properties from 3D seismic data. The crucial point in this is to determine a relationship between a set of seismic attributes and the reservoir properties i.e. to onderstand how sensitive the seismic response is to the petrophysical parameters. Here, we propose a new methodology that can provide direct answers to this question.
