oa Simulations of CGW Injection in Parts of a Fluvial Deposited Reservoir

Poor sweep efficiency and early break through is a main concern with respect to improved oil recovery by gas injection processes. These adverse effects may be eliminated by combined gas and water (CGW) injection. The efficiency of a CGW injection proces is strongly related to the size of the mixed gas/water flow zone in the reservoir.
