Abstract
Three geophysical techniques have been applied within a complex man effected catchment (Vallcebre in Catalunya). The techniques explored included geoelectrical, seismies and some early attempts to apply a Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) methodology. This area has a complex hydrology and the system is dominated by abandoned agricultural terraces and man made ditches. The work shows the possibility to acquire key hydrological parameters used in the construction of models and to demonstrate how the shallow geophysical methods can be used within experiments to visualize 3D hydrological flow processes.
